Chez Monsieur (Royal Madeleine), is a chic and lively French bistro located between place de la Madeleine and place de la Concorde at the heart of Paris elegant “Right Bank”.
Our street has been recently renamed from Richepanse to Chevalier Saint George but our restaurant has a history that spans about a hundred years.
Our clientele chooses our place for the classic French cuisine based on seasonal produces: from escargots in garlic butter, onion soup gratinée, French « blanquette » (veal stew), profiteroles homemade everyday and the exceptional « crêpes Suzette ».
Our extensive wine list shows our fondness for great French wines especially from La Bourgogne, Bordeaux, La Loire and Le Rhône.
We will be delighted to welcome you from Monday to Sunday for Lunch (from 12:00pm to 2:30pm) or diner (from 7:00pm to 10:30pm).

Equal parts Italian and Breton, Denis is a true epicure. In 2002, he opened Chez Monsieur (Royal Madeleine) to share his passion for food and wine.
Carole, our Executive Director, is 100% breton but Parisian by adoption. She began her career with Guy Savoy, Michel Rostang and Manuel Martinez, among others.
Carole managed our bistrot with passion since 2004 until the opening of our one Michelin Star restaurant "Les Climats" in 2013 on the left bank.
